Overview: Design a 20’ X 20’ colorful, kid-friendly interactive exhibit to engage and excite youngsters about the fitness benefits of ocean kayaking as the hot new cardio-craze. Bags of beach sand spilled onto the bright blue artificial grass creating the California Beach theme which featured inflatable palm trees, pink flamingos, hanging fishnet, sea shells, grass skirted display tables, full size ocean Kayaks, life jackets and paddles. During the 2-day Expo, over 25,000 students visited the LA Convention Center and lined up to participate in the exhibit’s live paddling and water safety demonstrations and watch the continuous kayaking class slide shows on large flat-panel monitors. The popular exhibit drew lots of interest and generated hundreds of registrations for summer kayaking classes in Los Angeles, CA.
