Client: Kimball’s Carnival – Oakland, CA.

Overview: The Exotic Erotic theme for 600+ costumed guests at the 20,000 sq. ft venue featured a gilded gold picture frame entrance flanked by 5’ tall pedestals topped with green lighted Gargoyle ice sculptures. Rich velvet draping cascading from a 14’ chandelier created a dramatic backdrop for painted “living art” models dancing in elevated wrought iron cages to thumping beats throughout the night. Stimulating aromas, low-lying ghostly fog and massive iconic Venetian masks added an almost surreal atmosphere. Backing the main stage were dimensional faux flames – some rising 14’ in the air with smoke rolling from below accentuated with intelligent lighting fixtures, black lights and projected gobo images throughout the space.
